Each factory or plants have different requirement, thus a consultation is required to find out what our customer needs. Whether be it uptime, redundancy, number of ports required, we are here to help you optimize and give you the best networking solution for your plant. From large plants to small plants, we bring our best commitments, skills and knowledge to apply different network designs for your requirement. Bringing out the expertise from VNES to give the best of your expectation and satisfaction.

Network management and implementation have become very crucial on big plants especially vital connections between the PLC and the machines or PLC to SCADA need to be handled carefully and cautiously. As OT Networks in plant also is part of OT/IT Convergence, more and more machines are getting connected to the plant network to allow information or reports to be compiled as well as connected to the IT infrastructure of the plant. A well-designed network allows for constant and redundant connectivity between machines and operations, because downtime is not acceptable unless planned. The benefits of having such connectivity in plants helps to save cost, have lesser to none downtime, enable fast recovery and easier diagnostic report.

OT Network Architecture

Star Topology is to have a central switch to be the centre of all communication. The shutdown of any other device beside the central switch would not affect other communications. But If the middle central switch were to fail, the whole network will fail. Thus, we would recommend Star Topology to be used in small networks.

Ring Topology makes use of managed switch which allows redundancy. Each managed switch has configurable system to configure a ring topology. In the cases any switches were to go down, it would not affect the overall network. We would recommend this for medium to large networks.

Mesh Topology makes use of managed switch which allows redundancy. Mesh Topology can be connected in any other way between manage switches. This allow for a much better flexibility for customer to manage their networks. We would recommend this for complicated networks.

With so many different kinds of topologies and networks out there, we at VNE focuses on Designing, Implementing and Documentation. We bring our best commitments, skills and knowledge to apply different network designs for your requirement. Bringing out the expertise from VNE to give the best of your expectation and satisfaction.
